Sail Care – Proper Storage and Maintenance of Sails
Sails wear out over time, whether used or not, so proper care is key to extending their life. Protect them from UV rays, avoid over-tightening, and prevent leech flutter through correct trim. After sailing, rinse, dry, and store sails in a dry place. A yearly professional inspection and cleaning, like Dustom Sails winter service, keeps them in top shape and prevents costly damage.
